Archimedes was in habit of writing letters to his all friends in Alexandria.On that letter his research/work paper were written without the proof.Archimedes always motivated/encourage his friends /college that mathematics reveals its secrets only to those who approach it with Pure love, for its own beauty.when you do mathematics you should never ask at each step , what can I profit by this ?.You should do maths without any expectation of money, job,degree,award , name and fame etc.Then only you will get a true knowledge of mathematics
Archimdes was very courageous person. He was the true lover of mathematics .He give up his life for mathematics. Roman soldier came up and began to drag him away to take him prisoner but he was too busy and engaged in work and he refused to leave his mathematical diagrams.He was saying loudly ‘’don’t disturb my circle ‘’ many times , after that he was killed by Roman soldier.
